Privacy Policy

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies and records a rough location derived from a truncated IP address.

It does not load unless you press “Accept” on the banner at the bottom of the page. If you decline, or never answer, no Google analytics code is downloaded or run at all — there is no cookie to delete, because none was ever written. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat that as a decline and never show you the banner.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage on this device, never in a cookie and never sent to us. It lasts a year, or until you change it:

The Google Map on Plan Your Visit also sets Google cookies, so it stays unloaded until you accept the banner or press “Load Map” on the placeholder. The address, hours, parking and a directions link are all available in plain text without it.

We use no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags, no social trackers and no cross-site profiling of any kind.

There are three forms on this site, and each goes to email:

• Contact form (home page and Plan Your Visit) — your name, email, phone if you give one, and your message. It is emailed to our team at Crown Restaurant Group.
• Catering & events enquiry — the same contact details plus your event date, guest count, event type and notes. Emailed to our events team.
• Job application (Jobs) — your contact details, address, the roles and locations you are interested in, your availability, your employment history including previous supervisors and rates of pay, and your resume if you attach one. This is emailed to our hiring team.

Form submissions are handled by Google Apps Script and delivered through Google Workspace. Resumes are attached to that email, and may also be saved to a private Google Drive folder that only our hiring team can open.

We do not sell, rent or share any of this with anyone outside Crown Restaurant Group, and we never use it to market to you unless you have asked us to.

Two small items are kept in your browser’s local storage. Neither is a cookie and neither is transmitted anywhere:

• Your cookie choice — kept for one year so we do not ask again on every visit.
• A draft of the job application — saved as you type so you can close the tab and come back. It stays on your device for seven days and is erased the moment you submit. Nothing is sent to us until you press submit, and you can clear it yourself at any time with the “Clear & start over” button on the form.

Contact and catering enquiries live in our email for as long as they are useful, and are deleted when they are not. Job applications are kept for up to two years so we can reach out when a role opens up. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months and is not tied to your name or email.

Reservations are booked through OpenTable, and our social links go to Instagram and Facebook. Once you click through, you are on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. We receive nothing from them beyond the reservation details you would expect.

You can decline analytics at any time, change your mind later, or ask us to delete anything you have sent. Depending on where you live you may also have a legal right to see a copy of your information, correct it, or have it erased. We honour those requests regardless of where you live — email us and we will take care of it.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Applicants must meet the minimum working age for the role and state.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how analytics work will also bring the consent banner back so you can decide again.
